Samsung launches three new Galaxy Z foldables
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 at its July 2026 Galaxy Unpacked event. The new lineup gives buyers three noticeably different ways to enter the foldable-phone market.
The Fold8 Ultra is the range-topping model, combining an 8-inch internal display, a 200-megapixel main camera and a 5,000mAh battery. The regular Fold8 introduces a shorter, wider, passport-style body, while the Flip8 continues Samsung's compact clamshell formula with improved cover-screen usability.
Pre-orders opened on 22 July 2026 in announced markets, with general availability scheduled to begin on 7 August 2026.
